Easy Milk Bread Dessert Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 slices milk bread (white bread works too)
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon custard powder or cornflour
- ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
- Chopped dry fruits (almonds, cashews, raisins) – optional
- Chocolate syrup / honey – optional
Method

Prepare bread:Cut bread slices into small cubes or triangles.

Make milk sauce:Heat milk in a pan, add sugar, and stir until dissolved.Mix custard powder (or cornflour) with a little cold milk and add to the pan. Stir continuously.

Add flavor:Add butter and vanilla essence. Cook until the milk thickens slightly.

Combine:Add bread pieces to the milk mixture. Cook for 2–3 minutes until soft.

Garnish:Add dry fruits and drizzle chocolate syrup or honey if desired.
Serving Tips
- Serve warm for a soft pudding-like texture
